A Study of Myths in Folk Beliefs West of Hormozgan

Popular culture has a close and inevitable relationship with myths, and with a little thought, can be seen The role of mythology in the legends and folk culture of different nations. and for this reason, to understand why and what is happening between myths and people's beliefs, they must be measured by ancient beliefs and mythological rituals, to achieve the best possible result. Folk beliefs are a rich source of myths and beliefs of ancient nations and They are a means of conveying and maintaining these beliefs. This research seeks to use written sources as well as oral and popular beliefs to Explore ancient themes in tales as well as folk beliefs and The magical and mythical elements found in folk culture and beliefs in West Hormozgan. West of Hormozgan,covering Bandar Khamir, Bandar Lengeh, Parsian and Bastak. The research results show In the popular culture and beliefs of the people of western Hormozgan, many archetypes and myths can be traced Sometimes resembling the myths of Mesopotamia, India and East Asia, East and North Africa, and even Latin America And sometimes they are similar to many of the Zoroastrian merits and demerits of the ancient cult of this area.
