'Folklore literature is a popular oral form; it is a kind of art which appeals to the public taste and the majority of the people are used to it. Folklore literature represents morality, habits, lifestyles and public rituals. Meanwhile, there are certain words from folklore that find their way to everyday language of the people and become inextricably attached to it. This study attempts to concentrate on the meaning of the word “Kandook” and its application in Gheshm’s folklore literature. |
