@article{ author = {}, title = {location finding of a new village in bastak province considering passive defense in GIS environment using AHP model}, abstract ={Using passive defence indices, this paper presents a location finding for a site or a new village that could be employed for the habitation of the local people and the services or facilities that further encourages habitation in Bastak, a part of Hormozgan Provine. To achieve this goal, the strong and accurate GIS, along with Ahp model have been used to analyze the maps. Passive defence is a collection of strategies, plans and ventures that reduces vulnerability against threats. This notion is sometimes referred to as Prevention. Regarding present situation of the country, security and defence measures are the first priority and observing principles of passive defence seems to be a major part of the sustainable development. According to the aim of this study, different layers of data including human and natural factors have been incorporated to give maps the ability to sketch various potentialities of the region. Finally all the maps have been weighed and integrated to constitute one single whole which exhibits plains and optimized points for the erection of a new village. To name a few of natural factors used in this paper we can refer to topography, geology, land potentiality, river, fault, point of view, slope of the region etc. Of human factors the following can be mentioned: rural points, urban points, communicative lines and population of the region.}, Keywords = {location finding passive defence GIS bastak}, volume = {1}, Number = {1}, pages = {12-26}, publisher = { ministry of culture and islamicguidance of hormozga}, url = {http://rdch.ir/article-1-114-en.html}, eprint = {http://rdch.ir/article-1-114-en.pdf}, journal = {Cultural Journal of Hormozgan}, issn = {24767328}, eissn = {}, year = {2011} } @article{ author = {}, title = {An investigation of the commercial relationship between Iran and Netherland in Safavites and Afshariyeh}, abstract ={An investigation of the commercial relationship between Iran and Netherland in Safavites and Afshariyeh}, Keywords = {Safavites , persian golf, the Iranians, Islam' Afshariyeh}, volume = {1}, Number = {1}, pages = {27-38}, publisher = { ministry of culture and islamicguidance of hormozga}, url = {http://rdch.ir/article-1-87-en.html}, eprint = {http://rdch.ir/article-1-87-en.pdf}, journal = {Cultural Journal of Hormozgan}, issn = {24767328}, eissn = {}, year = {2011} } @article{ author = {}, title = {Homoz island from the view point mahovan Chini\'s litinery}, abstract ={(Translation)}, Keywords = {mahovan' hormoz island}, volume = {1}, Number = {1}, pages = {39-49}, publisher = { ministry of culture and islamicguidance of hormozga}, url = {http://rdch.ir/article-1-109-en.html}, eprint = {http://rdch.ir/article-1-109-en.pdf}, journal = {Cultural Journal of Hormozgan}, issn = {24767328}, eissn = {}, year = {2011} } @article{ author = {}, title = {The Characteristics of National Awareness in Sadid’s Itinerary}, abstract ={Mohammad Ali Sadid –al- Saltaneh Kiyayi is a historian, poet, writer and researcher of the Southern Iran. All the researchers in the field of Persian Gulf, Hormozgan and Boushehr, whether inside or outside Iran, make reference to his works. Yet, a thorough and methodical investigation of his works is a job that has not been undertaken up to now. Taking the recent establishment of academic majors entitled Persian Gulf Studies into consideration a methodical investigation of Sadid’s ideas seems to be a task to be done. Accordingly, a revisionary re-reading of his works is of utmost importance and essentiality. The present study in the first step presents a content analysis on Sadid’s itinerary and makes references to the secondary resources written about his works. It then continues to criticize part of his daily notes and itinerary. The results indicate that Sadid’s work is a combination of dynamic national awareness with modern characteristics, which have been endowed to his ideas and texts via the Constitutional (Mashruteh) dialogue.  }, Keywords = {Keywords Sadid-al- Saltaneh Kiyayi, National Identity, Constitutional (Mashruteh) , Persian Gulf}, volume = {1}, Number = {1}, pages = {50-65}, publisher = { ministry of culture and islamicguidance of hormozga}, url = {http://rdch.ir/article-1-116-en.html}, eprint = {http://rdch.ir/article-1-116-en.pdf}, journal = {Cultural Journal of Hormozgan}, issn = {24767328}, eissn = {}, year = {2011} } @article{ author = {}, title = {Iranian National Identity as Narrated by Keshm Jangnameh}, abstract ={The world is shifting and mounting on a high rate, the results being a reduction and diminution in spaces, unification of the sub-cultures, the omnipresence of visual world and an inescapable elimination of the “roots”. Therefore it seems a necessity to provide an answer to the ever-perplexing question of essence, quiddity and “identity” with a retrospective outlook towards the past and a survey through the present. One of the preliminary factors required for a full understanding of the ancient identity is an excavation in the inner world of collective unconscious which is imbedded in the culture, history and the literature of the ancient people. Keshm Jangnameh, doubtless constitutes one of these signs. The text that has been investigated in this paper is a verse epic written by an anonymous local author at an approximate date in the 11th century. Using content analysis as the methodology, this study reveals the significant presence of a national-Iranian structure in the mindset of the local warriors and inhabitants of the Keshm region. When confronting a new context the structure has been re-figured and updated and in a combination with elements of identity such as religion, language and the motherland the structure has been converted to a supportive feature for other identities.  }, Keywords = { National Identity, Iranian Identity, Keshm Jangnameh, Hormozgan}, volume = {1}, Number = {1}, pages = {66-80}, publisher = { ministry of culture and islamicguidance of hormozga}, url = {http://rdch.ir/article-1-110-en.html}, eprint = {http://rdch.ir/article-1-110-en.pdf}, journal = {Cultural Journal of Hormozgan}, issn = {24767328}, eissn = {}, year = {2011} } @article{ author = {}, title = {Abstract Much research has been done on the expulsion of the Portuguese from the Persian Gulf Islands, but most of them have considered the case of Hormuz while relatively less has been written on their expulsion from Gheshm Island and the consequent siege of their castle. Education has been an integral part of human life from the time he used to live in communes. Yet its nature is inescapably interlocked with the social and religious norms and values inherent in the government of its time. Therefore the investigation of education can expose many of the historical characteristics of any age. This also paves the way for a thorough understanding of the process of education. Moreover, we need to survey the educational centers and their functions in a given country to come to understand the additional aspects of education. Using documents and itineraries from the age of Safaviyeh, this article tries to give a presentation of the kind of education and management practiced in Safaviyan schools. Based on a religious background for the period, this article also poses the question whether Safaviyan kings really believed in religious principles or not.
