some historians and researches in Arab countries intend to change name of Persian Gulf, they claim that Hormoz kings are Arab descendents and their kingdom belongs to Arab countries. Therefore in addition to historical facts it is necessary to review Persian Gulf literature once again.
This paper studies Salimi Jarooni’s Shirin And Farhad from a text-analyzing point of view. In this text Salimi has -unintentionally- reflected the concept of Iran-land and the national awareness which has been relevant among the people of the region in that era, before the formation of a centralized government.

Folk tales reflect the oral common culture of that region because they cover a large part of oral culture and literature of each region. From the past to the present, these stories have passed on from generation to generation and still remain attractive and effective. They have proved that if no attempt is done to put them in written formats, they will gradually be removed from memories.
Folk tales have a very special status among the populace. This is because the fact that folk tales as oral literature, lead to the realization of the aspirations of the nation and legitimate the life and solidarity of that nation. The strong footprint of the lasting culture and heritages of Hormozgan in the oral literature, especially in the folk tales of Hormozgan, is strongly felt. The presence of these factors led to a research on the status of folk tales in the oral literature of Hormozgan, which will be discussed in this article in details.
