The advent of modernity has been parallel to the disruption of patriarchal core families. The result of this process can be seen in the atomization of the families. Yet this process lacks the mental and objective backgrounds. That’s why there is a threat that the family institution might not be able to perform its essential roles properly. Taking this into consideration, it seems utterly urgent to discuss family, its place and performance.
Nezami Ganjavi’s verse has narratives that deal with the issue of family. In his works, family has been depicted as patriarchal, extensive, monogamous and free from member association.
Using content-analysis and thematic analysis, the present study tries to intertextually investigate family in the Ganjavi’s verse and demonstrate family’s different roles and performances within the text.

No doubt Ebrahim Monsefi is one of the pioneers in discovery and presentation of local melodies of Hormozgan. Using sonorous voice and significant technical mastery, Monsefi opted for simple folkloric melodies that had an air of “rustic humbleness” about them. His works were constant success and he acquired public recognition in Hormozgan.
Although it is fifteen years that Rami has passed away (1324-1376) his melodies and songs are still popular. They owe their fashionable quality to their modesty and emotional maturity. The cultural richness of his works constantly verifies our social identity and pleasures. They produce a rout to reality while hampering that on the same level.
This article is an attempt to investigate women’s status in Iranian literature and in Rami’s melodies. To put under study the feminine characteristics of Rami’s melodies is another aim which is intended in this paper.

When Hoormuz port in the Moghestan coast became the center of commerce, many businessmen following the fall of Siraf and Kish from the business market, switched their capital to Hoormuz. Hoormuz, in turn, was itself the outcome of a liberal government in business, economy and religion. The concentration of money in Hoormuz was a beginning for economic flourish and prosperity in a way that Hoormuz became an international port after the second half of the fifth century.
The government founded by Mohammad Deramku on the beach of Moghestan, in addition to Moghstan (Roodan and Minab) included Jarun Island (Hoormuz), Shamil, Qeshm, Manūjān, Oman, Bahrain and Qatif. The present article tries to concentrate on the formation of hoormuz kings dynasty and the island’s domain in the southern coasts of Persian Gulf and Oman sea (that includes Oman and Bahrain).
