The impact of the national cultural festival of the Persian Gulf on the cultural development of Hormozgan province (Case study: Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Hormozgan Province)

Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of the national cultural festival of the Persian Gulf on cultural development of Hormozgan province by descriptive-analytic method. The survey community comprised all of the experts and managers of the Directorate General of Islamic Culture and Guidance in 1396, using a Morgan table and simple random sampling, a sample of 80 were sampled. A researcher-made questionnaire was developed in two sections: demographic variables and research fields in the dimensions of cultural heritage, sports, tourism, environment, visual arts and music. The formal and content validity of the research tool was confirmed by the professors. The reliability of the tool was estimated to be 0.86 through the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. The average rating of dimensions showed that the development of music culture was 3.8 with the highest and Environmental developmentwith 3.15 with the lowest average.
