The purpose of this research was to study “The Informative Role of
Mass Media on Consensus and Consistency of Subcultures”. The
method of the research was survey and the tool of the data gathering
has been researcher- made questionnaire. The reliability of
questionnaires using cronbach alpha was (0/81).
The Statistical population for this study was defined as all citizens over
age of fifteen (15) living in the city of Bandar Abbas. After performing a
preliminary (pilot) study to ensure the validity and reliability of
questionnaires, 370 were selected based on a quota sample and
required data was collected among them.
Finally, after analyzing the data with the help of the software of SPSS
and Amos, The obtained results indicated that: There were meaningful
relationship between informing of the mass media and social
consensus in Bandar Abbas (r=0/289**).
