Folk tales reflect the oral common culture of that region because they cover a large part of oral culture and literature of each region. From the past to the present, these stories have passed on from generation to generation and still remain attractive and effective. They have proved that if no attempt is done to put them in written formats, they will gradually be removed from memories.
Folk tales have a very special status among the populace. This is because the fact that folk tales as oral literature, lead to the realization of the aspirations of the nation and legitimate the life and solidarity of that nation. The strong footprint of the lasting culture and heritages of Hormozgan in the oral literature, especially in the folk tales of Hormozgan, is strongly felt.
