Comparing teacher training students’ attitudes at Farhangian university about evaluating teachers about their knowledge (A case study at Shahid Beheshti Pardis and Fatmat-Al-Zahra University of Bandar Abbas)

Abstract
The present study conducted by the purpose of comparing teacher training students attitudes at Farhangian university about evaluating teachers about their knowledge, A case study at Shahid Beheshti Pardis and Fatmat-Al-Zahra University of Bandar Abbas. The methodology of the study was a descriptive-survey, and the population of the study all junior students at Shahid Beheshti Pardis and Fatmat-Al-Zahra University of Bandar Abbas (78 men and 105 women). The sample was selected according to a rational sampling. Data collection instrument was a researcher’s made questionnaire, and for evaluating validiy of thhe tests a content validity was conducted. Also, for reliability of the study a correlation coefficient of 0/87 was extracted through Chorenbah’ formula. Data analysis was conducted through descriptive and inferential statistics through mean and T-test by the use of SPSS software.
The findings of the study showed that there is a meaningful positive difference among teacher-training students’ attitudes (two genders) about using evaluation factors such as: type, instrument, aim, and different types of cognitive areas that teachers know about their evaluation. Hence, men mean were higher than women in type, aim, and the levels of cognitive areas in this evaluation, while women’s mean in the use of instrument factor were higher than men. There were no significant differences among teachers about emotional and mental-dynamic factors. |
