This paper investigates the transformation of "human - tree" and "tree - human" in Hormozgan's written folk tales andattempts to emphasize the importance of maintaining and studying the folktales. This study also shows how one can find the traces of a nation's old and mythological beliefs in its folk literature. The present article briefly concludes that in Hormozgan's folk tales, the "human - tree" & "tree - human" as an ancient belief is of very high frequency in comparison to other transformations, and it usually appears in two forms: 1- the transformation of tree- man and the transformation of "tree- woman". These transformations are sometimes the result of passion, anger, the death of an innocent,and they are sometimes used to deceive the others to achieve the goals and objectives.
