No doubt Ebrahim Monsefi is one of the pioneers in discovery and presentation of local melodies of Hormozgan. Using sonorous voice and significant technical mastery, Monsefi opted for simple folkloric melodies that had an air of “rustic humbleness” about them. His works were constant success and he acquired public recognition in Hormozgan.
Although it is fifteen years that Rami has passed away (1324-1376) his melodies and songs are still popular. They owe their fashionable quality to their modesty and emotional maturity. The cultural richness of his works constantly verifies our social identity and pleasures. They produce a rout to reality while hampering that on the same level.
This article is an attempt to investigate women’s status in Iranian literature and in Rami’s melodies. To put under study the feminine characteristics of Rami’s melodies is another aim which is intended in this paper. |
